These cherry tomatoes are suitable for indoor and outdoor production too. The vigorous plants produce masses of delicious cherry sized red fruits in fishbone clusters of 16-20 tomatoes.

Seed Starting

Started the seeds indoors in cocopeat by sowing about 1 cm deep into small pot covered lightly and watered and placed at between 22- 25 Celsius over a fridge.

Germination usually takes 8-11 days .

As soon as seedlings emerge the pot was kept at windowsil for light and once they are large enough to handle and have a true set of leaves, transplant the seedlings into individual small pots, later on they might need to be repotted if growing quickly and large. Make sure the leaves do not overlap. Temperature during this stage was 20 -25 Celsius.

Week 1

Started our Tezier Cherry Tomatoes in cocopeat. The seedlings we watered with a light mixture of Jungle Juice Tri part and some suppliments as detailed below. As the seedlings emerge  it is time to plant them into the system.

We planted them into a self made customized Drip Irrigation system created with basic tools and locally available products from hardware store and 14" customized pots. We also used Hydroton LECA stone as the top cover to prevent light on the growing media And evaporation.
